This course provides participants with theoretical knowledge about measurement methods, how to take readings and the proper handling and storage for better conservation of equipment.

Course Content:

1. Metrology – Sciences and Applications;
2. Main Concepts;
3. Measurement Traceability;
4. Multiples and Submultiples;
5. SI Measurement Units;
6. Round-off Criteria;
7. Reading of Measuring Instruments: Measuring Tape, Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Indicator, Graduated Ruler, Height Meter.
8. Care and handling of equipment.
